liz solo's "alien"

Liz Solo released her brand new CD "alien" in St. John's on Saturday January 26th at The Ship. Special guests The Pathological Lovers, The Black Bags, Steve Abbott, Mike Kean, Sam Hall, Alex Pierson.

This show was also broadcast into the virtual world of Second Life. The simultaneous online event was part of a series in the Rock Can Roll/IAM Co-op Second Space Project.

Rock Can Roll in collaboration with Sniz Wreckerds celebrated a limited release to the local NF scene and selected retail (Fred's Records) on December 21, 2007 at the Victory in St. John's - special guests - The Black Bags.

alien features 14 original tracks recorded at Rock Can Roll Studios during the summer and Fall of 2007. Recorded and mixed by Liz Solo, Steve Abbott and Mike Kean. Liz has many guest players on this recording including her compandres from the Lizband and the Black Bags - Marcel Levandier (Lizband, Black Bags), Mike Kean (LIzband, Black Bags), Brian Downton (Lizband, ABNT) and others - Luke Power (Idlers), Steve Abbott (Geinus, Local Tough), Colleen Power (Collen Power Band), Sam Hall (The Sketch), Matt Wall (Local Tough) and Alex Pierson (Geinus, Pathological Lovers).
