Augment Me

Augment Me, a new work from Liz Solo, is now in the proposal stage. Augment Me will use a series of connected narrative stories to visually illustrate the places where Virtual Space, represented by the online social environments where we meet and form communities, and Real Space bleed into and out of each other. The merging of these spaces creates a new Third Space or "augmented reality".

Augment Me will examine the placement of the body (both human and virtual) within this third space as well as how individuals express emotions and intimacy within augmented space. She plans to work with the new Emotiv EEG Brain Interface Headset, as well as other devices to create layers of physical relationship between the avatar body and the human body.
