Museum of the Mind
Museum of the Mind is a performance art work, installation and web project first presented by the Resource Center for the Arts Gallery in St. John's, Newfoundland in April of 2002 as part of the inter-disciplinary Networks New Media Festival in St. John's.
Far in the future, on the edges of the Great Dome, a lone scientist experiments with the artifacts under her care at the Museum of Organic History. The information she uncovers while working with these rare organic elements releases a force that threatens to tear the world apart.
By exploring the notion of inherited or "anthropological" memory the Museum of the Mind examines humanity's tenuous connection to the natural world.
